THROUGH THE WEEK

Monday 29th June 2026
Feast of Saints Peter and Paul
Lord God, when challenges weigh heavily upon my heart, help me remember the steadfast witness of Saints Peter and Paul. Give me the courage to endure trials with patience and trust. When I feel discouraged, remind me that Your grace is sufficient for every difficulty I face. Strengthen my spirit when I grow weary and help me remain faithful even when the road is difficult. May I never lose hope in Your promises or abandon the path You have set before me. Teach me to see every trial as an opportunity to grow closer to You. Through Your strength, may I persevere with confidence and peace. Amen.

PRAYER FOR PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
God of Comfort,  send your Spirit to encompass all those whose lives are torn apart by violence and death in the Middle East. You are the Advocate of the oppressed and the One whose eye is on the sparrow.  Let arms reach out in healing, rather than aggression. Let hearts mourn rather than militarize.   **************************************************************************                    PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE
Loving God, we pray for the people of Ukraine,  for all those suffering or afraid, that you will be close to them and protect them. We pray for world leaders, for compassion, strength and wisdom to guide their choices. We pray for the world, that in this moment of crisis, we may reach out in solidarity to our brothers and sisters in need. May we walk in your ways so that peace and justice become a reality for the people of Ukraine and for all the world.    Amen.     Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for us!      Our Lady of Kyiv, pray for us!

PRAYER FOR THE BEREAVED                                                        Lord, comfort all who mourn, and strengthen them in the Hope of the Resurrection, where there will be no more sickness or mourning, but eternal peace and happiness in your Presence
